Indianapolis-based Rare Bird, Inc. has been honored with five 2009 WebAwards by the Web Marketing Association. The WebAwards are the premier Internet award competition that judge web site development against peer sites within a given industry and an ever-increasing standard of excellence.
With thousands of entries from more than 47 countries, the WebAwards set the standard of excellence by evaluating web sites and defining benchmarks based on the seven essential criteria of successful web site development: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use.
The five sites selected for awards this year were in a variety of industries, including non-profit, food, e-commerce, crafts, and interactive services. “It’s been a great year for us,” said Jim Cota, president of Rare Bird. “It’s an honor to be recognized for the work and fun for our clients to be selected in such a wide variety of industries.”
