HGC Industries—formerly Hoosier Gasket Corporation—first engaged us to help with their branding. They had anecdotal evidence that their name might be holding them back. After purchasing facilities in China and Sweden, they wondered if anyone knew what a “hoosier” was, or if perhaps “gasket” itself was too limiting.
We conducted research to get clarity on these questions and then made recommendations for changing their name. We created a new brand and logo, then designed and developed a new website to bring together all three facilities under one brand. During these efforts, we also supplemented their social media presence, working to build their reach and better position them as the global supplier and fair employer they clearly are.
